Online exam to eliminate possibility of question leak: ICT State Minister
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak recently said the introduction of digital system in holding exam replacing the traditional system can eliminate the possibility of leaking questions. He was talking to the journalists after witnessing the second day online examination for graduates' level students willing to be future IT leaders held at the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) center at Agargaon. President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Shameem Ahsan and LICT Project Director Md. Rezaul Karim were present at that time. Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) project under the Ministry of ICT Division recently organized a 6-day online exam in seven centers of BCC in Dhaka and six divisional headquarters for the selected 6500 graduates.
BASIS welcomed BCS Newly Elected EC Members
Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS) organized a reception ceremony to welcome Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) newly elected executive committee members last week. On the occasion all the BCS EC members were welcomed with flower bouquets as a token of congratulation by BASIS Executive Committee members. During the occasion a meeting between BASIS and BCS was held to discuss cooperation and future plans. BASIS President Shameem Ahsan presided over the meeting.
On the occasion BASIS President Shameem Ahsan congratulated all the newly elected BCS EC members and urged all to work together for the development of ICT industry.
BCS President Mr. Abu Hanif Md. Mahfuzu Arif also shared his views to work together for development of ICT industry.
