The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC), Dhaka, is beginning its new session of Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, Bharatnatyam and Manipuri dance and painting classes from August 7. The classes will be held at both the Dhanmondi and Gulshan premises of IGCC, aside from yoga and Hindi language classes as well. The Bharatnatyam lessons Sankari Mridha are designed for beginners, and will only be held at the Gulshan premises. The Manipuri classes under Warda Rihab will be held only at the Dhanmondi premises, and are designed separately for adults and children. The painting classes, under Heera Rani Biswas, will have three skill levels, and will be held at both IGCC premises.
Registration for the courses will begin on August 3, and will be on a first come-first-serve basis as seats are limited.
