Himu's “Nazirbihin Nazar Ali” goes on air

Himu Akram is an emerging TV director and playwright, who strives for a creative edge. Most of his directorial works have become popular.
His last directorial venture “Joinal Jadukar” on Ekushey TV earned him much acclaim with Zahid Hasan as the protagonist. After the success of the play, he made “Nazirbihin Nazar Ali”, now aired on Rtv. Zahid Hasan also played the eponymous role in the critically acclaimed series.
“I want to be remembered by doing good scripts”, Himu told The Daily Star.
The director came into the spotlight with his debut one-hour play “Sagor Dakichhe Tare”. He now dreams of making films.
His acclaimed one-hour plays include “Typist”, “Telepoka”, “Matir Kathal”, “Ronger Sangsar”, “Premalap”, “Mistanna Bhander”, “Jyotsna Dekha”, “Jolsap”, “Kankabatir Chiti”, “Palki” and “Firey Ashi Brishtir Grahne”.
Interestingly, the director scripted his own plays.  
He recently started shooting for two new drama serials--“DB Lottery” and “Habilder Talkies”.


Although Himu is primarily a director, he has also authored a number of books.
