Talat Ahmed

If you're a fan of the beautiful game, you probably spend hours a day browsing through football news about transfers, formations, interviews, what not bouncing from one news website to the other. On matchdays, it's replaced my starting line-up and live commentary because your cable operators hate you. OneFootball fixes all that and more.
OneFootball, formerly called TheFootballApp, is the most comprehensive app out there for football fans. No other similar app comes close to it in terms of user friendliness, updates, and interface. At the risk of sounding incredibly clichéd, it actually IS your one-stop-shop for all your football needs.
The app lets you set up your home screen with your team of choice, on both club and national level, and then proceeds to link all the news on the web that is about your teams in a streamlined setting with easy navigation. At the top of the home screen, it shows the score history of the last couple of games, and the next couple of fixtures as well when you need to know when and who the next game is against.
Moving away from your favourite team, the app also comes in packaged with a News Feed reminiscent of Facebook's with all the global football news. It makes looking for any sort of information you might be searching for easier than it might be on your computer thanks to its sub-menus that go as far as to contain nearly all the World Cup playing nations, including their leagues and individual tournaments as well.
Fixture schedules show game times in Local Bangladeshi Standard Time and tell you which games are going on live. The app automatically sends live score updates to your phone in games where your favourite team is playing, but you can also assign other matches to send you live alerts as well. OneFootball comes bundled in with the option to listen to radio commentary of games from TalkSport, however that option isn't available to Bangladeshi users yet.
OneFootball's specialty however is that it comes armed with an extensive player and stat database. Any sort of information you could possibly want and you can get it on OneFootball. From birthdays and heights to pass accuracy to normal goal and assist stats, it's all there. Not just individual player stats, but entire teams' as well. OneFootball is a must-have for every modern day football fan.
